All steers and heifers will be pictured and posted on the website in early September.
All cattle will be: weaned, clipped, vaccinated and halter broke.
Vaccination program for all sale animals is as follows:
April 2012: Bovi Shield Gold 5, Vision 8, One Shot and Novomectin
August 2012: Revaccination of Bovi Shield Gold 5, Vision 8, One Shot and Novomectin

DIRECTIONS TO THE FARM
Travel north on Hwy 20 past the Bentley (Hwy 12) turn off.
Turn east on Township Road 41-2.
Turn north on Range Road 1-4.
The farm is located up the road 3/4 of a mile on the west side (Red Barn) .

All steers in this sale are eligible for the Calgary Stampede Steer Classic Junior Breeders Trust Program. This program pays $2100.00 split between the two highest placing eligible steers. This is in addition to the projected $10,000.00 cash and scholarship payout.
All steers purchased by 4-H members and exhibited in the Lacombe and District 4-H Show and Sale are eligible to be declared the DRSS Brothers From Different Mothers Steer Champion. The winner will receive a $200.00 sale credit for the 2013 BFDM sale and a custom designed hand crafted belt buckle.

Sale Format for 2013
Cattle will be available for viewing on September 28th begining at 9:00am.
Viewing and social all day.
Join us for supper starting at 4:00pm.
Bids will open at 5:00pm MST.
Bidding will be silent auction format.
Bids will be accepted for one hour either in person or by telephone at the number listed below.
Bids will close at 6:00pm MST.
There will be a live bid board posted on this page from 5:00pm MST - 6:00pm MST
If two bidders are actively bidding on the same lot at the close of bidding at 6:00pm MST bidding will be closed to everyone but those two bidders on the applicable lot. They will have the opportunity to continue bidding on the lot.
Please settle your purchases immediately after the sale. Any steer or heifer remaining at DRSS must be insured.
